The Role:
Silcom Recruitment currently have a new and exciting job opportunity available for a Vehicle Technician, working for an established automotive business in the Southampton area.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out vehicle inspections using company checklists
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Service and maintain vehicles to high standards
Request required vehicle parts using internal systems
Ensure effective use of workshop equipment and facilities
Work closely with supervisors to prioritise workload
Undertake a full range of workshop duties
**Our client will only consider someone with a level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance will be considered & ideally is looking for someone EV qualified or trained**
The Package:
Hourly rate of £18.75 – £22.00 per hour (Depending on experience) + regular overtime (not compulsory).
Monday to Friday 7:00 – 15:30. No weekends.
