We are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This Vehicle Technician role offers the opportunity to join a well-established, professional team committed to delivering exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
- Competitive salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience
- 5.5-day working week, Monday to Saturday, with Saturdays on a rota basis

- MOT licence preferred, but not essential, with potential for further career advancement

Duties:
- Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
- Perform thorough inspections and accurately identify faults
- Complete complex repairs, including gearboxes, clutches, and timing belts
- Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with customers
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and health and safety protocols
- Ensure repair quality meets company standards
- Adhere to all safety regulations and workshop procedures
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or Level 2 with significant relevant experience
- Proven experience working within a busy automotive workshop environment
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
- MOT licence is preferred but not essential
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good organisational skills and high standards of workmanship
