Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Carry out brake, clutch, and timing belt replacements and repairs
- Strip and rebuild engines and gearboxes
- Diagnose faults using computer hardware and diagnostic software
- Maintain workshop standards consistently
- Ensure accurate recording of work completed as a Vehicle Technician
- Support continuous improvement and team collaboration
Requirements:
- Proven automotive repair experience
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent; time-served individuals considered
- Full UK driving license
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach to vehicle repairs
- MOT testing license highly desirable
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and proactive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
