Vehicle Technician

Salary: £32,000–£42,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £60,000)

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in King's Lynn. This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and the chance to work within a modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
- Work efficiently to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support colleagues and contribute to overall workshop performance.
Candidate RequirementsEssential
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable
- MOT Tester qualification.
- Franchise dealership experience.
- Hybrid and EV qualifications.
- Manufacturer accreditation.
