In Any Event is a highly respected event management company delivering conferences, exhibitions, meetings, incentives and corporate events throughout the UK and internationally.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and confident Venue, Research & Sales Administrator to join our growing team.

This is a varied and exciting role that combines venue research, administration, sales support, appointment setting, supplier liaison and commission management. No two days are the same and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both our venue finding and event management services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for researching venues, supporting venue bookings, managing commission claims, identifying sales opportunities, generating appointments and providing administrative support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Research & Administration

  • Research and source venues based on client requirements
  • Contact venues to obtain availability, rates and proposals
  • Prepare venue recommendations and comparison documents
  • Support venue booking administration and confirmations
  • Maintain venue databases and venue information records

Sales Research & Appointment Setting

  • Research potential clients and new business opportunities
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients
  • Arrange appointments for the management team
  • Support business development and sales activity

Commission Management

  • Manage venue commission claim administration
  • Chase venues for commission payments and copy invoices
  • Monitor and report on outstanding commission claims
  • Reconcile commission payments received

Administration & Client Support

  • Provide administrative support across the business
  • Liaise with suppliers, venues and clients
  • Maintain CRM systems and databases
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • Confident and professional on the telephone
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and arranging appointments
  • Strong communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Customer focused and relationship driven
  • Positive, enthusiastic and hardworking
