Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice
Full Time | Independent Practice | No Out-of-Hours
Our client is an established and growing independent small animal practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and highly skilled team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician looking to work within a modern, well-equipped environment that offers an interesting and varied caseload, including exposure to referral-level work. The practice supports a number of surrounding clinics and has developed an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional patient care with a personal approach.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 5 years’ UK small animal general practice experience, with additional orthopaedic experience or interest viewed favourably.

- No out-of-hours commitment
The Role Offers
- Flexible working arrangements with a collaborative approach to rota planning
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (3-hour shift only)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional day off for your birthday
- No out-of-hours or on-call requirements

About You
- MRCVS registered (or eligible to register)
- Minimum 5 years’ UK small animal practice experience
- Comfortable managing a varied GP caseload independently
- Orthopaedic experience or interest advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
