Overview:
This is a key senior leadership role for an individual with a strong academic background and proven experience in leading academic operations within an international school setting, particularly across the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level programmes). This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role in a forward-thinking international school environment with a strong focus on academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic academic leadership and ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning
- Lead the implementation, development, and ongoing enhancement of the curriculum
- Oversee academic planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery across the school
- Support, mentor, and develop teaching staff to achieve excellence in classroom practice
- Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to drive academic strategy and whole-school improvement

The ideal candidate:
- A recognized teaching qualification and a Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Must be a UK-qualified educator with senior leadership experience.
- Strong experience in a senior academic leadership role (e.g. Head of Secondary, Deputy Principal, Academic Director)
- Extensive experience with the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Levels)
- Proven track record of improving academic outcomes and teaching quality
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
- International school experience preferred
