The Role
As a VP, you will:
- Lead day-to-day execution of M&A mandates (sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory) across the infrastructure sector.
- Manage deal teams, overseeing Analysts and Associates on modelling, valuation, due diligence, and client materials.
- Own client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for sponsors, corporates, and management teams.
- Drive origination efforts alongside senior bankers, contributing to pitches, sector coverage, and thought leadership.
- Mentor and develop junior talent, playing an active role in the team's growth and culture.
What We're Looking For
- 6-9 years of investment banking experience, ideally with a strong focus on Infrastructure M&A at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier European bank.
- Demonstrable track record of leading live transactions end-to-end.
- Deep sector knowledge across one or more infrastructure sub-sectors (digital, energy transition, transport, utilities).
- Strong technical foundation – M&A, LBO, and DCF modelling, valuation, and structuring.
- Excellent client-facing skills, commercial judgement, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Strong academic background; MBA/CFA a plus but not required.
