Waking Night Support Worker
Salary: £14.24 per hour
Hours: Up to 44 hours per week (4 nights per week)
Shift Pattern: 10:00pm – 9:00am, Sunday to Thursday
Contract: Term Time Only
Location: Bexhill
At academics, we are looking for a waking night support worker to join a small, supportive team within a residential setting for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The role involves providing overnight care, support and supervision to pupils and students aged 5-19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and associated SEND.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- Positive, patient and caring
- Committed to providing high-quality support and care
- Experienced in supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent relevant qualification)
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work up to 44 hours per week across four waking night shifts, operating on a rota basis between 10:00pm and 9:00am, Sunday to Thursday, during term time only.
Start date ASAP
Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
PAYE, term time only
If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Health & Social Care degree, it's an excellent use of your degree
