A rapidly growing business in FMCG / manufacturing is currently recruiting for a permanent Warehouse Operations Manager due to expansion. This company is due to open their second site in Bristol and after achieving a £7.5m turnover last year, they are on target to achieve a £15m turnover for this year and double in size.
You will report into the Ops Director, initially managing a team of 7, and work on site Mon-Thu 8am-5pm with every Friday and weekend off. This role would suit someone used to working in a busy warehouse environment and with ambition to grow and progress as the business is expanding. The role:
- Responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations across 2 locations in Bristol, with full accountability for service, cost, safety, and compliance, managing budgets
- Responsibility across warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, order fulfilment, inventory control, and resource planning.
- Optimise throughput, labour utilisation, and operational flow through structured planning, KPI management, and continuous improvement, consistently driving gains in productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, service levels, and operational reliability.
- Lead systems implementation and optimisation
- Improved stock accuracy, planning effectiveness, and service levels through structured planning and performance reporting.
- Worked cross-functionally with supply chain, warehousing, transport, and commercial teams to align operational plans.
- Lead and manage the warehouse team of 7, due to grow
