Warehouse Operative – Appleton Thorn, Cheshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Appleton Thorn, Cheshire on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, immediate starts, a supportive team environment, and the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, General Operative, Picker Packer, Goods In Operative, or Order Picker.
Due to the location of the site, candidates must either live locally or have access to their own transport.
Shifts:
• Monday to Friday • 06:00 – 15:00
Rates of Pay:
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Manual handling duties • Goods In and stock handling • Working within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment • Loading and unloading stock • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment • Working effectively as part of a team • Following all health and safety procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:
• Availability to work the required shift pattern • A responsible attitude with good attention to detail • Willingness to learn and develop • Good conversational English to follow instructions and health and safety procedures • Good reliability and punctuality • Physically fit due to regular manual handling duties
Desirable Experience:
• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial
Training:
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
