Warehouse Operative – £25,000 to £28,000
Location: Hampshire Full-Time | Permanent
We are supporting a leading organisation within the aerospace and aviation supply chain sector that is continuing to grow across the UK and internationally. The business is known for delivering high-quality service solutions to customers operating within highly regulated and fast-paced environments.
The company is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its expanding operations team. This position will play a key role in supporting warehouse, logistics and inventory activities while ensuring compliance with strict quality and safety standards.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience who is looking to develop within a professional aerospace environment. Key Responsibilities – Receiving, sorting and organising incoming shipments and materials – Inspecting incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards – Recording shipment details and updating inventory systems accurately – Storing and securing materials within designated warehouse locations – Picking and preparing items for dispatch to customers and operational teams – Packing, labelling and preparing shipments for delivery – Operating warehouse and material handling equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts where required – Supporting stock control activities including inventory checks and cycle counts – Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to support smooth day-to-day operations – Following company procedures alongside health & safety and quality requirements – Supporting additional warehouse and logistics activities as required
What We're Looking For – Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment – Strong attention to detail and ability to work within structured processes – Good communication and team-working skills – Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment – A proactive and reliable approach to work – Aerospace or aviation industry experience would be advantageous, but not essential
