Warehouse Operative
Location: Near Ely, Cambs
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
Salary: Up to £28k
A specialist manufacturing business near Ely is looking for a hardworking Warehouse Operative to join its growing team. This lovely family run business puts their people at the forefront of the business and is a great place to work and thrive. Accuracy and attention to detail are key in this position.
The Role
You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including:
- Packing and preparing customer orders
- Entering and processing orders on an internal IT system
- Quality checking goods before dispatch
- Manual handling and lifting of products (up to 20kg)
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Supporting general warehouse duties as needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting
- A good communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Confident using basic IT systems
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Forklift-trained (desirable but not essential)
