About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to support the safe and efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods. You will help maintain stock accuracy, meet customer requirements and ensure high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping while demonstrating our CAN DO values: Courage, Accountability, Networking, Drive and One Team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm, with flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend work when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload vehicles.
- Book stock in and out using scanning systems.
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
- Rework and repack products to customer specifications.
- Operate FLT and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Complete quality, safety and equipment checks, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and support continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
What We Are Looking For
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse experience and an understanding of health and safety practices.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- FMCG warehouse experience and knowledge of scanning systems are advantageous.
Requirements
- FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential).
- Reach Truck and PPT licences are desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Ability to work on site daily and flexibility to support business needs.
