Warehouse Operative – Automotive PartsOverview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly respected automotive recycling and vehicle parts operation based in Thame, Oxfordshire. This role offers the chance to work within a fast-paced environment supporting the preparation, storage, and distribution of vehicle parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and inspecting vehicle parts to ensure they meet quality standards before sale.
- Conducting quality control checks on parts and components.
- Locating, picking, and preparing parts for dispatch.
- Assisting with stock management and warehouse organisation.
- Supporting general warehouse and operational duties as required.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience or a good working knowledge of motor vehicles would be advantageous.
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is desirable.
- Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Position Details
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Salary:
- Starting salary: £26,000 per annum
- Eligibility for a discretionary monthly bonus upon successful completion of probation
