We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Goods In & Out
- Receive incoming deliveries, check quantities, and report any discrepancies
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is processed and passed to the Warehouse Manager
- Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, and store goods
- Prepare and load courier collections each day, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate
Picking & Stock Control
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders
- Dispatch goods with the correct paperwork and packaging
- Maintain organised storage by sorting and stacking stock neatly
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock to management
Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy warehouse at all times
- Carry out regular cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, and waste removal
General Duties
- Assist with answering phones and taking messages when required
- Prepare sample packs as needed
- Support the wider team with ad hoc duties to meet business needs
About You
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift licence (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills
- Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to help
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
