Warehouse Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting several Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client due to continued business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse environment where you will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for distribution.
The successful candidates will be reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Restocking products and maintaining stock levels
- Palletising goods ready for dispatch
- Shrink-wrapping pallets
- Loading and moving stock within the warehouse
- General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg
- PPE will be required
Requirements
- Safety boots and high-visibility vest are essential
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
