Warehouse Operative / Tow Motor Driver
Location: Gaydon
Pay: £12.83 per hour
Overtime: £19.25 per hour
We're currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Tow Motor Driver to join our client's busy and friendly team in Gaydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse or production experience looking for stable, full-time work with regular hours and an early finish every Friday.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Thursday: 06:15 – 15:15
- Friday: 06:15 – 11:15
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering parts to the production line using a tow motor
- Operating a tow motor safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, and handling stock accurately
- Line walking and general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
- Ensuring orders are processed efficiently and correctly
- Liaising directly with the client regarding daily operational requirements
- Supporting colleagues to meet production targets and resolve issues quickly
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or production experience is essential
- Experience operating a tow motor is advantageous
- A Counterbalance Forklift licence is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided for the right candidate
- Computer literate with confidence using basic systems
- Good spoken and written English, as you'll be communicating directly with the client
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
- Reliable, hardworking and a team player with excellent attention to detail
