Aylesford, Kent
Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 3:00pm
£27,000 per annum + £200 Monthly Attendance Bonus (after probation)

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and expanding logistics operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment who enjoys a varied role involving goods in, picking, put-away and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload inbound deliveries, including pallets and IBCs.
  • Scan incoming shipments into the warehouse management system.
  • Put away stock into the correct warehouse locations.
  • Break down mixed pallet deliveries and distribute products to the correct storage areas.
  • Pick customer orders accurately to specification.
  • Band, strap and wrap shipments in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
  • Prepare shipments and attach the correct documentation.
  • Print labels and confirm stock receipts using warehouse computer systems.
  • Operate Counterbalance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Trucks (PPT).
  • Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure freight is ready for dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a fast-moving warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Experience picking, putting away and preparing shipments.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP experience would be advantageous).
  • A valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • A valid external PPT (Electric Pallet Truck) Licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
