Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing’s Skilled Shop Floor Team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for a manufacturing business based in Sheffield.
The site is located just off the Sheffield Parkway and operates across a range of processes including forging, foundry, CNC machining, and finishing. The facility employs a large workforce and specialises in precision-engineered components within a highly regulated industry.
They are currently looking to recruit a Wax Operator. While experience in a similar role would be advantageous, they are also keen to hear from enthusiastic individuals from other industries with transferable skills.
Role: Wax Operator
Working hours: 2 shifts
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6am – 4pm
Week 2 – Monday – Friday 8pm – 6am
Hourly Rate: £13.50 + 12.5%
Overview of the role:
- Using small hand-held tools to remove excess wax from castings
- Working with high-precision, small, intricate parts
- Adhering to health & safety standards
- Managing own workflow and working to KPIs
- Maintaining a strong focus on quality
Requirements:
- Keen eye for detail
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks
