A leading international retail business is looking for a Website Content Administrator to join its ecommerce team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering engaging and accurate product content across a high-volume ecommerce website, helping to create an outstanding online customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and an interest in ecommerce, digital content and online retail.

The Role

As Website Content Administrator, you will be responsible for creating, editing and maintaining product content across the company website, ensuring product information is accurate, engaging and optimised for customers.

Working closely with the ecommerce, buying and product data teams, you'll help ensure products are presented to the highest possible standard online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create clear, engaging and accurate product descriptions in line with brand guidelines.

  • Upload, review and maintain product content across the ecommerce platform.

  • Ensure product information is accurate, complete and customer-focused.

  • Work collaboratively with Buying and Product Data teams to maintain high-quality online product listings.

  • Review and optimise product descriptions and key product features where required.

  • Produce reports and support wider ecommerce projects as required.

  • Maintain excellent attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

About You

To be successful as a Website Content Administrator, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience within ecommerce, online content, digital administration or product content.

  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) or ecommerce platforms would be advantageous.
