The Website Tracking Manager is responsible for accurate, scalable and efficient implementation of digital marketing tracking. The focus is on managing Google Tag Manager for web and mobile, and supporting front-end development for landing pages and campaigns.

Description
The Website Tracking Manager will act as a key point of contact between the London marketing teams and the software engineering teams based in Europe, helping to ensure that tracking and front-end requirements are correctly understood, implemented and validated. The key areas of the role are: Tracking & Tag Management, Tracking Maintenance, and support with Front-End Development:
- Own and manage Google Tag Manager across all brands, countries and markets
- Ownership of our Consent Management Platform
- Manage and maintain Google Analytics properties across both web and app environments
- Implement and maintain: Conversion Tracking, Event Tracking, Marketing pixels, and third-party tags
- Ensure accurate tracking and measurement reliability for platforms such as Google Ads, Floodlights, Meta Pixel, and app campaigns (via AppsFlyer or SDKs)
- Ensure tracking implementations remain compliant with GDPR, consent management, and evolving privacy standards.
- Maintain a structured data layer
- Maintain documentation for GTM structure, tagging frameworks, tracking setups across multiple markets
- Establish and enforce best practices for tracking implementation
- Support scalability and consistency across all web properties
- Act as the main point of contact for tracking-related issues
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in conversion data
- Debug tracking across landing pages, multi-step funnels and cross-domain journeys.
- Support and maintain server-side tracking implementations (S2S, CAPI, Reporting APIs, etc.)
- Perform regular audits of GTM containers, tags, triggers, and variables as well as data consistency across multiple platforms
- Reduce reliance on external engineering teams by resolving tracking issues independently where possible
- Build, update, and maintain marketing landing pages (via CMS platforms that do not require development skills) for channels like PPC/Paid Social, etc.
- Implement tracking requirements directly into front-end code where needed
- Ensure pages are responsive, performant and technically sound
- Support rapid deployment of campaign-related updates without delays

Profile
A successful Website Tracking Manager should have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and CMPs
- Experience building and maintaining Google Analytics
- Solid understanding of event tracking, conversion tracking and data layer structures
- Experience in debugging tracking issues in web and mobile environments
- Front-end development skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with some creative/design capabilities – Nice to have, not necessary
- Experience working with marketing and analytics teams
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Familiarity with cross-domain tracking
- Exposure to app tracking concepts (Firebase or similar)
- Experience in performance-driven industries (gaming, betting or ecommerce)
- Strong attention to detail
Job Offer
- Salary from £50,000 to £55,000 GBP per year plus annual bonus
- Hybrid working – 3 days/week in the office in Central London
