We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Weighbridge & Front of House Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a diverse role offering the perfect balance of hands-on site involvement and office-based responsibilities.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm. Saturday, 7:00am – 11.30am.
As a Weighbridge/HSEQ Site Support, you will be responsible for:
- Weighbridge Operation / Coordination Goods In – Tipping, Inspection, Reporting
- Quality Exception Reporting
- Weighbridge Operation / Coordination Goods Out – Containers, Tilter, Export Requirements, Waste, Bulk
- Photograph inbound and outbound loads as required (via RECY) / Fulfil export requirements
- Daily diary – all daily & weekly checks to be completed in line with requirements
- Adherence to HSE standards
- Adherence to PPE requirements
- Weekly odour and fly reporting
- Control of Fire Logbook including completion and testing (fire extinguisher/emergency lighting)
- Fire extinguishers – ensure all in situ – report discharged / damaged and control spares
- Site visitors / contractors – induction, sign in/out
- Production Reporting
- Batching Coordination
- Assay Completion & Reporting
- Knowledge of Tilter Operations & Maintenance Procedure
- New starter – onboarding & inductions of WB Team
- Staff Management re Timecards, Holiday, Illness, Rota, Return to Work, Disciplinaries, Training & Development (including SSOW, RA, COSHH & TBTs)
- Overview / Complete monthly first aid box checks
The ideal candidate has experience with:
- Previous experience within a weighbridge, recycling, waste, logistics or industrial environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Experience supervising or leading a small team.
- A proactive approach to health, safety and compliance.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
