Are you an experienced Welder / Fabricator looking for a role that offers excellent rates of pay, regular working hours, and long weekends every week?
Our client is seeking skilled Welders / Fabricators to join their growing team. The role involves working away, travelling to the site on Monday, staying away during the week, and returning home on Thursday afternoon, giving you every Friday off.

- £16.50 p/h – With uplift of 10% with travel

- Monday – Thursday 6am-4pm. Days only.
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be required to:
- Fabricating new steel components for rail vehicles and associated equipment.
- Repairing worn, damaged, or obsolete parts.
- Refurbishing couplers, bogies, brackets, frames, and other rolling stock components.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings.
- MIG, MAG, TIG, or coded welding.
- Grinding, fitting, cutting, drilling, and assembling fabricated parts.
- Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining traceability records.
- Potentially working on customer sites performing maintenance and welding repairs
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience within a fabrication environment
- MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience
- Relevant welding and fabrication qualifications
- The ability to work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision
- A strong work ethic and attention to details
