You will assist in providing tailored support to ensure each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential, both academically and socially. You will work as part of a close-knit team of staff who are committed to delivering high-quality, individualised care and learning strategies.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in a variety of classroom settings.
- Assist with the delivery of personal care and social development, where required.
- Support the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans.
- Help students with activities that support their communication, social skills, and independence.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior staff.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for working with children with additional needs.
- A proactive, empathetic, and patient approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both with pupils and staff.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
