Job Title: Wood Machinery Trainer
Location: Field based – delivering training across the Midlands and South East of England (Flexibility required – overnight stays provided when needed)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold solid occupational experience as a Wood Machinist.
- Ideally have experience of CNC router operation and programming, though this is not essential.
- Confident and comfortable to deliver theory and practical based sessions to learners.
- Must be IT Literate.
- Experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues is highly desirable.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel, and overnight stays as required.
Duties include:
- Deliver training sessions to learners working towards Wood Machinery courses, in either their workplace or at our clients training academy.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours
- Maintain student records, and evidence of performance.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
