In this role you will be solving problems, taking pride in carrying out quality repairs to a variety of vehicles and machinery. JOB DESCRIPTION: Workshop Fitter, HGV Mechanic – Commercial Vehicles, Fleet This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business where your skills are valued and no two days are the same. As our Workshop Fitter, you will be: · Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on our HGV fleet · Diagnosing faults and ensuring vehicles are kept in excellent working order · Working as part of a professional workshop team to keep our operation running smoothly · Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern: 05:00 – 14:00 & 10:00 – 19:00 PERSON SPECIFICATION : Workshop Fitter, HGV Mechanic – Commercial Vehicles, Fleet To be successful in your application, you will have: · A positive attitude and strong work ethic. · Previous HGV fitting / mechanical experience is essential · Class 1 licence preferred, but not essential THE COMPANY: We are a haulage and aggregate business with a fleet of more than 80 vehicles; many of these support specialist functions, but a general haulage fleet of tractor units and trailers to cater for almost any load.
