TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for a Workshop Plant Fitter on behalf of our well-established plant hire client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that values its employees and offers genuine career progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring plant machinery is fully prepared, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards by:
- Carrying out routine inspections, diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery.
- Completing accurate maintenance and service records.
- Conducting PDI checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire.
- Working both independently and within a team environment.
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Following all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
What You'll Need
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing plant machinery.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage your workload effectively.
Hours & Benefits
- 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime opportunities available.
