Hue Recruitment is currently recruiting a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to support a busy builders' merchant in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a hands-on role that would suit candidates who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a busy team environment.
Key Duties:
- Stacking bricks and building materials
- Re-wrapping pallets and stock
- General yard maintenance and housekeeping
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and organising materials around the yard
- Supporting the yard team with day-to-day operational duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous yard, warehouse, labouring or builders' merchant experience is advantageous but not essential
What's on Offer?
- Monday to Friday working hours
- 07:30am – 4:30pm
- No weekend work
- Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Immediate start available
- Friendly and supportive team environment
