Year 1 Teacher (Part-Time)

Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a part-time position (3 days per week), ideal for an experienced teacher looking for an excellent work-life balance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire Year 1 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive.
  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
  • Strong classroom management skills and excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting every child's learning journey.

Please note: This position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
