Year 2/3 Teacher – Part Time (2 Days Per Week) | September Start

REED / Lancashire Teaching Agency (LTA) are currently recruiting for a part-time Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from September.

This is a long-term position, working 2 days per week, supporting pupils across a Year 2 and Year 3 class. 

The school is looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Year 2 and Year 3
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching within KS1 and/or Lower KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Experienced teachers are preferred
