The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils to become confident, independent learners. The school is seeking a Year 3 Teacher who can foster a positive classroom culture while maintaining high expectations for both academic achievement and personal development.
Working alongside experienced colleagues and support staff, you will play a key role in ensuring every child receives the support and encouragement needed to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where required
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic growth
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maximise outcomes
About You
The ideal Year 3 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A genuine passion for primary education
