Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive community one-form-entry primary school near to South Croydon in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a maternity contract.
This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 on a long-term but temporary basis through Tradewind Recruitment, ongoing until February 2026.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Be passionate about delivering creative and engaging lessons
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or continue their teaching journey within a supportive school environment – this contract does not support towards the ECT years.
