Year 5 Teacher – Kettering

A supportive primary school in Kettering is looking for a motivated Year 5 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity to step into an established class and make a positive impact during an important stage of pupils' learning. The school is seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships and help pupils achieve their full potential in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The role will involve:
- Teaching a Year 5 class and delivering lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Planning, preparing and assessing pupils' work
- Creating a positive classroom environment where children feel confident to learn
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working closely with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
- Is organised, reliable and passionate about education
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
