About Us:
We are a teaching agency working with an inclusive and vibrant four-form entry junior school in the Borough of Havering who are looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher.
About The Client:
We are working with a friendly and happy junior school in Romford, in the London Borough of Havering. The school strives to be a community where all are involved and listened to. They are looking for a full-time Year 6 teacher to join them from September. There is a potential opportunity to lead a Foundation Subject. If you would like to work as a Year 6 Teacher, please read on! Please note ECTs are not being considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities for the Year 6 Teacher:
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 6 Teacher
- Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
- Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
- Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school as a Year 6 Teacher.
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Year 6 Teacher:
- QTS
- Strong behaviour management
- Good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Prior experience teaching as a Year 6 teacher
- UK classroom-based experience
