Mortgage Adviser

Are you a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Adviser who has started providing advice and is now looking for a role with stronger enquiry levels, better support and genuine earning potential?

This is an opportunity to join a growing mortgage advice business that works closely with a wider property network, giving advisers access to regular customer opportunities and a strong internal referral structure.

The business is expanding because of the volume of work available, so they are looking for Mortgage Advisers who can come in, provide good advice, build relationships and make the most of the opportunities in front of them.

The Role

This is a Mortgage Adviser role for someone who is already qualified and has some experience providing mortgage advice.

You do not need to have years and years of experience, but you do need to be beyond trainee level, and ready for their next step.

You will be speaking with customers, understanding their circumstances, recommending suitable mortgage and protection solutions, and helping them through one of the biggest financial decisions they are likely to make.

You will have access to warm enquiries, administrative support and a wider team around you, allowing you to focus on advising, building relationships and converting opportunities.

This role will suit someone who is commercially driven, confident with customers, used to working to targets and motivated by the opportunity to increase their earnings.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be:

  • Providing mortgage advice to customers
  • Recommending suitable mortgage and protection solutions
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal referral partners
  • Working closely with estate agency teams to maximise opportunities
  • Managing warm enquiries and proactively following up with prospects
  • Converting opportunities into written business
  • Maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service
  • Working in a busy, target-driven environment

What They’re Looking For

You must already have some experience providing mortgage advice.

You will also need to hold CeMAP 1,2,3 or equivalent

This is not a trainee role and would not suit someone who is still waiting for their first advice opportunity.

The business is looking for someone who can build trust quickly, communicate clearly, work at pace and make the most of a strong flow of customer opportunities.

You should be:

  • Fully CeMAP qualified
  • Already providing mortgage advice
  • Comfortable working to targets
  • Motivated by success, results and earnings
  • Strong at building relationships
  • Professional, articulate and customer-focused
  • Able to work closely with wider teams
  • Confident managing a busy workload

Package

The package is expected to include:

  • Basic salary around £29,000
  • Guaranteed payment for an initial period
  • Company car or car allowance £2,500
  • Realistic earnings around £65,000 including commission
  • Uncapped commission
  • Holiday entitlement
  • Pension and life insurance
  • Structured career path
  • Employee support and reward schemes

Why This Role?

This role is suited to a Mortgage Adviser who has started their advice career and now wants access to more opportunities, a strong referral environment and the support needed to grow.

You will not be starting from scratch or expected to build everything alone. The business has customer demand, internal relationships and support in place, but they need advisers who can convert those opportunities properly.

If you are fully CeMAP qualified, have some mortgage advice experience and are motivated by the chance to grow your earnings in a busy environment, this could be a strong next step.
