Personnel Selection
Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking hands on Production and Assembly Operatives to work for our established client in Newhaven.
Shift patterns available are AM=06:55am to 14:55pm or PM=14:45pm to 22:45pm
We are interested to hear from candidates that can do either one shift pattern or happy to alternate each week.
Training offered to the right candidates however you will need to meet the following requirements to be considered for the role:
- Previous Production / Assembly background preferred.
- Confident in the use of hand and small power tools.
- Previously operated machinery – Ideal but not essential.
- Able to work to instructions and diagrams.
- Strong eyesight and good attention to small details.
- Able to work at a fast pace when the requirement is needed.
- Happy to work in a manual role to include lifting and bending.
- Understanding of English language both written and verbal.
- Positive "can do" attitude.
Job Function
- Hands on assembly using hand tools and associated equipment.
- Operation of production machinery.
- Assembly of light plastic or electronic items.
- Inspecting quality of work produced.
- Labelling and packing items for despatch.
